Quotes

I could probably have a Inspirational Quotes website (no I’m not doing that!). I like quotes. I don’t usually care too much who said them, though I find it interesting. I just like to garner what I call “Universal Truths”. Those bits of wisdom that have been perpetuated through time that are as true now as they were then. It probably comes from my many years as a professional calligrapher. That’s what we do, take profound words and render them artistically. I could have many more here, but these are just a few of my favorites.

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”― Unknown

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”― Winston Churchill

“In times of great stress or adversity, it’s always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive.”

“Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but of playing a poor hand well.”― Robert Louis Stevenson

“We do not remember days, we remember moments. The richness of life lies in memories we have forgotten.”― Cesare Pavese

“Begin to see yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul.”― Wayne Dyer

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”― Teilhard de Chardin

‎”Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.”― Buddha

“No one experiences freedom until they stop pushing against others. The only thing that binds you is the pushing against that which is unwanted.” – Abraham

‎”…if you are able to see only what-is—then, you will create only more of what-is… You must be able to put your thoughts beyond what-is in order to attract something different or something more.” – Abraham

“Don’t worry about the HOW, just state the WHAT, and the HOW will work itself out. It always does.” – Lori Puente (one of my life’s mantras)
