“Here comes the sun (dooda doodoo), here comes the sun, and I say it’s all right.” – The Beatles

It’s just an incredibly beautiful day here in N. California. Blue skies, light breeze, sunshine, birds singing, flowers blooming, kids playing and one happy dog named Kip who got a midday walk!

I’ve been busy weaving and helping to give my favorite Yarn Shoppe a facelift. Everyone is chipping in and I boldly stepped forward to do all the painting, which I enjoy doing. So every morning I pop over as the shop is opening and do some part of a wall or two. Anna rightly, doesn’t want to close the shop, so we will move through one wall at a time. Three walls are completed and a 4th will be done by tomorrow in time for the Thursday rabble rousing knitters, weavers and crocheters who enjoy their evening together. It has felt great to have a project and some camaraderie. The trick is for me to paint and not buy more yarn!

Not too worry about my new busier schedule. I check in regularly here, your blogs, FB and emails. Stay strong, stay well, enjoy the beautiful change of seasons. There is something about coming out of the winter hibernation that is spiritually and emotionally uplifting. If you haven’t been walking, now would be a good time to make a new commitment to that mild activity. While you are out walking, be sure to take time to really notice things as you walk. Its a terrific way to extrovert yourself.
